The first major update for Battlefield 6 is almost here, aiming to reshape how the game is played, how missions are completed, and what part bots have to play in all of that. It’ll start a few hours after the patch goes through, allowing everyone to get geared up and ready for a new map, vehicles, and other content. We’ll initially get the Blackwell Fields, which now has a new and flashy trailer, an extra ground vehicle (a jeep), and several new weapons, including a rifle, a sniper rifle, and a handgun. The season’s start will also mark the arrival of the first skins to the game, which are a bit colorful but retain the grittiness and realism that Battlefield 6 has been aiming for.
