Axelrod on agreeing with Greene: ‘Astonishing’

Former White House senior adviser David Axelrod on Thursday found himself in agreement with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) over the Democratic victories seen across the country in Tuesday’s elections. “Well, I’m in the kind of astonishing position of saying I agree with every word that Marjorie Taylor Greene said,” Axelrod told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins…

‘My heart was in my throat’: Ameowzing volunteers successfully save cat tied to a rope hiding under a busy highway, showing the difficulty and danger before the heartwarming rescue

We write all the time about the cats after they’re rescued, but what about the actual process of saving them? Sometimes, the cats are domesticated, and they come right up to you. Other times, they’re feral or frightened, and then you run the risk of them escaping before you can bring them to safety. This is never more apparent than when the scared stray is near a busy road, or worse, a highway. These are the most dangerous and difficult rescues. You normally only get one shot, and if you miss it. well, we don’t like to think about what happens if you miss. In the video, the animal rescue volunteers carefully surround the poor kitty, who was tied to a rope and hiding at the edge of a highway filled with speeding cars. They approached slowly, patiently, and calmly. One was able to grab the rope, which, at the very least, would prevent the cat from escaping. They finally got the cat into a carrier, and is now safely in their care. The cat was clearly someone’s pet once, so all we can hope for is that someone will find it in their hearts to take this floofy feline into their homes. After watching the clip below, please give a round of appaws for all the everyday heroes who go out and rescue these cats. They are angels in hooman form!.

A beautiful white Iberian lynx is spotted for the first time in history, after long being thought extinct, bewitching the online world: ‘That’s an old, OLD ancient guardian. Look at the eyes. You can tell.. chills’

There are so many beautiful rare wild cats out there that are just- criminally underappreciated, and every time we come across them online, every time a story about one of them pops up, we feel that it’s our duty to give them the love and appreciation that they deserve. Like the Pallas’ cats the perpetually grumpy, round, fluffy cats that we wish we could have at home but can’t. Or the rusty spotted cat the smallest wild cat in the world whose size you should not be fooled by, because they are very experienced hunters as well. We thought, considering our general obsession with cats and also our job writing about cats all the time, that we have seen it all. But no. Just like the rest of the internet, over the Halloween weekend, we were blessed with a new wild cat popping up on our timelines. And okay, technically, they are not new. This species was a known one the white Iberian lynx, it’s just that no one has actually spotted one on camera before. Until now.
