**PMW Warns UN: Palestinian Statehood Without PA Reform Would Empower More Terrorism**
A recent report by Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) warns the United Nations that establishing Palestinian statehood without significant reforms within the Palestinian Authority (PA) could lead to an increase in terrorism. The report highlights that the PA’s responses to the killing of Jews and Israelis have set a dangerous precedent, normalizing and even encouraging violence and terror.
The Palestinian Authority chair, Mahmoud Abbas, remains at the center of this controversy, especially against the backdrop of the destruction and tensions following the events of October 7. Critics argue that without addressing internal reform, the recognition of Palestinian statehood might inadvertently empower extremist elements.
