**”Honestly really fun”: Indian-origin man kills sex offender in California**

A 29-year-old man from Fremont, California, has been arrested for allegedly fatally stabbing a 71-year-old sex offender outside his home. The suspect, Varun Suresh, is accused of killing David Brimmer after tracking him down using California’s Megan’s Law Website.
### Premeditated Crime
Court documents reveal that Suresh used the Megan’s Law database to identify Brimmer as a sex offender. He took screenshots of multiple profiles, including names, addresses, physical descriptions, photographs, and conviction records—about 45 minutes before the stabbing. Although Suresh reportedly did not know Brimmer prior to the incident, he admitted to planning the attack for years, stating he wanted to kill a sex offender because “they hurt children” and believed they “deserve to die.”
Suresh meticulously planned the encounter, even preparing to pose as a certified public accountant (CPA) seeking new clients. He carried a bag, notebook, and coffee to appear legitimate when approaching Brimmer.
### Confession and Attitude
Upon arrest, Suresh confessed that he “wasn’t planning on getting away with it” and actually wanted to be arrested. He showed no remorse, telling investigators that he “didn’t feel sad at all” about the murder. Authorities noted that during questioning, Suresh laughed and described the murder as “honestly really fun.”
### Legal Proceedings and Past Incidents
Suresh has been charged with murder in connection to Brimmer’s stabbing. A court date is yet to be scheduled.
Reports indicate this is not Suresh’s first run-in with the law. In 2021, he was arrested for making a false bomb threat along with other charges. Additionally, court documents reveal that Suresh believed the CEO of Hyatt Hotels was a pedophile and admitted to “hunting” him for some time, expressing intent to kill.
