Lexus has unveiled the 2026 LS500 Heritage Edition, a special model that marks the end of an era for its flagship sedan. This exclusive release will be limited to just 250 units, each priced at $100,730, following the discontinuation of the hybrid LS500h after the 2025 model year.
**Performance and Features**
The LS500 Heritage Edition is powered by a twin-turbo 3.4-liter V6 engine that delivers 416 horsepower and 599 Nm of torque. This powerful sedan can accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h in just 5.0 seconds.
The special edition stands out with unique 20-inch wheels and a striking new Ninety Noir paint option. Inside the cabin, Lexus introduces Roja Red upholstery for the first time in an LS model. Additional bespoke touches include an etched emblem on the center console and an embroidered silhouette of the LS on the headrests.
**A Legacy Comes to a Close**
Lexus launched as Toyota’s luxury division back in 1989, debuting with the original LS sedan as its flagship model. After 36 years, the LS nameplate is set to bid farewell. The 2026 LS500 Heritage Edition serves as a fitting tribute, representing the final chapter in the LS sedan lineup.
For 2026, the Heritage Edition will be the only LS model available for purchase, offering buyers a fully loaded luxury sedan rich with premium features and exclusive styling. This limited run celebrates the storied history of Lexus’s flagship and appeals to enthusiasts seeking a unique collector’s item.
