Kartik Aaryan’s career is moving in unexpected and very exciting ways. And the best is yet to come. He now plays an ichhaadhaari naag-a snake that can assume any form, including human in Naagzilla: Naag Lok Ka Pehla Kaand. These days Kartik, who turns 35 on November 22, spends a lot of time watching Reena Roy in Rajkumar Kohli’s Nagin where she played an ichhaadhari nagin, the female counterpart of what Kartik plays. A meeting with the veteran actress Reena Roy is also being planned. Karan Johar, the master planner that he is, intends to extend Kartik Aaryan’s Naagzilla avatar into a full-fledged franchise.“As soon as the first Naagzilla film is launched, the pre-production for the next film in the series will start. Kartik will be the only constant in the series. The rest of the cast and crew will change in every instalment,” a source close to the development informed. Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan have signed a multi-film deal. On 25 December, 2025, Karan-Kartik’s romcom Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri will release, followed by Naagzilla on August 14, 2026. Ajay Devgn returns for a high-voltage mission in Raid 3: Report
Ajay Devgn is reportedly reuniting with director Rajkumar Gupta for Raid 3, as the third installment of the successful franchise begins to take shape. According to reports, Gupta has already begun preparation for the film, and filming is expected to begin by the end of 2026. Though the makers are staying tight-lipped, “the conflict in the 3rd part is bigger than the earlier 2 films. The stakes are much higher, and the raid itself will be designed in a bigger way. Ajay Devgn’s character will face a situation unlike anything seen in the franchise so far.” Pre-production is scheduled to begin in mid-2026, once Devgn wraps up his current film commitments. Rajkumar Gupta is closely involved in developing the screenplay to preserve the realistic tone that defines the series. Devgn is set to reprise his role as a courageous and sharp Income Tax (or IRS) officer in this new chapter, but the scale and complexity of the story are expected to be greater than ever. Looking back, Raid 2 opened strongly at the box office it earned ₹19 crore on its opening day and reached ₹49. 25 crore in net collections over its first three days in India. Chitrapati V Shantaram will throw light on how this man, born in abject poverty in Kolhapur, learned filmmaking under Baburao Painter in Pune, and then left an unforgettable mark in the Hindi film industry with movies like Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje (1955), Do Aankhen Barah Haath (1957), etc. This film will also educate viewers that he was a trendsetter he was the first one to cast women, the first one to sell film music rights and the first filmmaker to attempt a colour film.
