HCLTech Renews and Expands Digital Transformation Partnership with Leading Swedish Commercial Vehicle Manufacturer
New Delhi: IT services firm HCLTech on Tuesday announced the renewal and expansion of its digital transformation partnership with a prominent commercial vehicle manufacturer headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden. The company, however, did not disclose the name of the client or the contract value.
Under the newly signed multi-year agreement, HCLTech will modernise and strengthen the Swedish automotive major’s IT infrastructure by deploying its proprietary GenAI-led service transformation platform, AI Force. This platform is designed to enhance operational capabilities through advanced technologies.
The deal encompasses platform-based managed services, hyper-automation, and full-stack observability, which together enable one-click IT service provisioning. These enhancements are expected to drive greater operational efficiency while improving both employee and customer experiences, HCLTech stated in a regulatory filing.
HCLTech operates in more than 60 countries and employs over 223,000 people globally. Its wide-ranging services cater to industries including financial services, manufacturing, life sciences, healthcare, high-tech, telecom, retail, and public services.
On Tuesday, shares of HCLTech closed 0.74 per cent lower at Rs 1,429.80 apiece on the BSE.
