Billie Eilish’s ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ 3D Concert Movie Set for Release by Paramount, Co-Directed by James Cameron

Billie Eilish’s 3D concert documentary will be released by Paramount, she revealed Sunday night on Instagram on the last night of her “Hit Me Hard and Soft” tour in San Francisco. In July, the nine-time Grammy winner announced at a Manchester concert that she was working on something “very, very special” that required her to wear the same outfit for multiple dates with filmmaker James Cameron, who co-directs the documentary. “Basically, I can’t say much about it but what I can say is that I’m working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron and it’s going to be in 3D. So, take that as you will and these four shows here in Manchester, you and me are part of a thing that I am making with him. He’s in this audience somewhere, just saying. So don’t mind that, and also I’ll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days in a row,” she told the crowd. One year ago, Cameron’s Lightstorm vision announced a partnership with Meta to bring more 3D content with “big-name IP” including concerts to Meta Quest headsets.
