BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) — Jeremiah Burke scored 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Denver to a narrow 75-73 victory over Montana State on Sunday. Carson Johnson sealed the win with a layup in the final two seconds, finishing with 19 points on 8-for-16 shooting, including 2-for-4 from beyond the arc.
Logan Kinsey added 15 points for the Pioneers, shooting 7 of 11 from the field, while Patrick McMahon contributed 11 points.
Montana State started strong, building a 30-17 lead in the first half. However, Denver rallied to tie the game at 38 by halftime. The second half remained tightly contested, with neither team leading by more than five points.
