**Battlefield 6 Challenge Updates: Faster Completion & Reduced Grind**
The Battlefield Comms team has announced major updates to Battlefield 6 Challenges and Assignments, delivering a more streamlined experience for players. Requirements for some of the game’s most time-consuming tasks have been reduced, making progression faster and less grind-heavy. Here’s everything you need to know about the changes effective November 5, 2025.

### **Overview of Challenge Changes**
Recently, several updates were introduced to Battlefield 6, increasing the XP earned in official matches and reducing the XP needed for the first 20 attachment ranks. Building on these improvements, the Battlefield Comms team has delivered a significant overhaul of Challenges and Assignments. These updates are guided by gameplay data and player feedback to ensure a balanced and rewarding progression system.
Challenges and assignments are now tuned around defined playtime targets, making them more achievable in a reasonable session length. The changes reduce the time investment required while maintaining a focus on skill-driven progression that rewards consistent play.

### **What’s Changed?**
– **Time Investment Reduced:** Challenge requirements have been cut down significantly, meaning you’ll spend less time grinding and more time enjoying the game.
– **Skill-Based Progression:** While most assignments can be completed through regular play, some still reward mastery, especially those tied to cosmetic items.
– **Clearer Goals:** Challenge and assignment criteria have been updated for clarity, making their difficulty and purpose more understandable.

### **Update Rollout Details**
The first set of changes went live today through a server-side update and are available immediately. Any progress you’ve already made will be automatically applied when you enter a match, unlocking any challenges or assignments you now meet based on the updated criteria.
This is part of a large-scale overhaul with further updates planned in future server-side and client-side releases. The team aims to get improvements in your hands as quickly as possible, with more details to follow.
