ARC Raiders Rusted Tools Farming Guide
ARC Raiders offers plenty of items for you to loot, and among them, Rusted Tools can easily fly below the radar if you don’t know where to look. Rusted Tools’ biggest use is to unlock the Gunsmith 2 upgrade for your Workshop, but they also have other uses inside the game.
This guide will help you locate Rusted Tools and provide strategies for efficient farming.
Where to Find Rusted Tools
As of writing, there isn’t a single spot that feels like an efficient farming location specifically for Rusted Tools. However, you can find them on every map in ARC Raiders from the mechanical loot pools. Each map features one of four themes, which will be displayed on your HUD. You’ll want to focus on areas tagged as Mechanical.
For example, on the Blue Gate map, the locations marked with the Mechanical tag indicate where Rusted Tools are most likely to spawn. Look for buildings and areas highlighted with this tag.
Once you’re in the right Mechanical spot, start opening containers scattered around. Keep in mind that obtaining Rusted Tools relies heavily on luck since they are classified as Rare loot and have a lower spawn rate.
Also, be cautious if you are playing solo. Opening containers creates noise that can attract enemy attention, so plan accordingly.
Uses of Rusted Tools
The primary use of Rusted Tools is to unlock the Gunsmith 2 upgrade at your Workshop. To obtain this upgrade, you’ll need the following items:
- 3 Rusted Tools
- 5 Mechanical Components
- 8 Wasp Driver
Aside from crafting, Rusted Tools can also be sold for 1,000 coins each.
