Battlefield Studios has announced that Battlefield 6’s battle royale mode, called Battlefield RedSec, is launching tomorrow. Excitingly, this new mode will be free-to-play for all players, including those who do not own Battlefield 6.
Battlefield RedSec, short for Redacted Sector, was revealed in a recent post on X. While details remain light, the announcement included some striking new key art and the promise of more information to come tomorrow.
The launch trailer is scheduled to drop at 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET, with the game mode going live immediately after. The new key art features soldiers walking through a street, with multiple players parachuting down from the sky in the distance. The image was captioned “Eyes up. Plates on.”
