**Trump Says Israel Could Resume Fighting in Gaza if Hamas Fails to Uphold Ceasefire Deal, CNN Reports**
Former US President Donald Trump has stated that Israel could return to active combat in Gaza if Hamas does not honor the ceasefire agreement.
“Israel will return to those streets as soon as I say the word. If Israel could go in and knock the crap out of them, they’d do that,” Trump was quoted as saying.
The remarks were made during a media interaction before Trump’s lunch with Argentina’s President Javier Milei at the White House in Washington on October 14, 2025.
