Woman’s Blouse Set on Fire on Sapporo Subway Platform

A woman in her 40s was standing on the platform when she suddenly felt a pulling sensation. As she turned around, she saw a man walking away from her.

Noticing a burnt smell, she quickly checked her clothing and discovered that it was on fire. Her blouse had a hole about five centimeters in diameter, but fortunately, she was not injured.

The suspect is described as approximately 150 centimeters tall, with short white hair. He was wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt and trousers.

Police reported that there had been no prior interaction between the victim and the suspect. They are currently investigating the incident as a case of property damage while searching for the man who fled the scene.
