WASHINGTON, United States – President Donald Trump announced on Monday that a steep US tariff on imported heavy trucks will take effect starting November 1, 2025. This marks a postponement of the original date he initially threatened for imposing such duties.
“Beginning November 1st, 2025, all Medium and Heavy Duty Trucks coming into the United States from other countries will be tariffed,” the President stated.
