Yang explained that producers often have to deal with multiple backstage issues and tolerate certain frustrations as part of the job. “I know he wouldn’t take the s**t that producers have to take, so I don’t know,” he said. “It might be different now with the new ownership, but Punk’s not gonna take as much poo-poo as others.”

Abyss was responsible for overseeing the match and struggled to get the performers to finish earlier as requested.
These anecdotes highlight that while CM Punk’s in-ring and storytelling talents are unquestionable, the demands of a backstage producer role require patience and diplomacy that may not suit every wrestler, even one as gifted as Punk.
