The ongoing legal saga between *Subnautica 2* publisher Krafton and former leaders of developer Unknown Worlds continues to escalate.
In recent developments, Krafton has filed two new legal documents accusing the ex-leaders of Unknown Worlds, specifically Max McGuire and Charlie Cleveland, of misconduct related to the upcoming *Subnautica 2* title. According to the filings, McGuire and Cleveland downloaded thousands of *Subnautica 2* files during June and July, just prior to their departure from the company.
Krafton alleges that only some of these critical documents have been returned, raising concerns about the handling of sensitive materials as the former leaders attempt to self-publish *Subnautica 2*.
Krafton provided the following statement to Shacknews regarding the matter.
