RSS leader stresses on strengthening Hindu society to counter global ourages

**RSS Leader Sunil Ambekar Calls for Strengthening Hindu Society Amid Global Distress**

Amid the recent ‘Gen Z’ protests in Nepal and escalating US tariffs on Indian exports, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Sunil Ambekar emphasized the need to strengthen Hindu society to free the world from ongoing conspiracies. Speaking to the media on Monday, Ambekar highlighted the RSS’s vision of a world free from distress, according to PTI reports.

Ambekar was addressing a press conference about the upcoming centenary celebrations of the RSS, scheduled to commence from Vijayadashami on October 2 in Nagpur.

The recent protests in Nepal, led by the younger generation against alleged corruption and social media restrictions, turned violent, resulting in at least 72 deaths. These demonstrations culminated in the fall of the K. P. Sharma Oli government.

When asked about RSS’s perspective on the events in Nepal and whether India should reconsider its foreign policy amid recent US government decisions, Ambekar responded, “The entire India, including RSS, is working towards the progress and strengthening of the country, and certainly India should become so strong that no society in the world should face such distress,” as cited by PTI.

He further elaborated, “It is the objective of RSS that the entire world should be free of distress. The Hindu society should be strengthened so that the world gets free from the conspiracies going on across the globe and the distress faced by the world.”

As part of the RSS’s centenary celebrations, Ambekar announced plans to organize a ‘Hindu Sammelan’ at approximately 103,000 locations across India, aiming to promote unity and progress within the Hindu community.

Regarding the Nepal protests, former Prime Minister K. P. Sharma Oli claimed that automatic weapons were used during the September 8 demonstrations, leading to at least 19 deaths on the first day. He urged an investigation into this, noting that these weapons were not in the possession of the police authorities, according to IANS reports. Oli, who resigned on September 9 amid widespread criticism over his handling of the crisis, asserted that his government did not authorize any orders to open fire on protesters.
