In Phase 1, you will face off against a set of powerful opponents across multiple arenas. Each of these arenas requires certain strategies and a balanced team setup. In this guide, we will break down how you can defeat every Arena Master in Phase 1, how to increase your Symbiosis level, and how to prevail in the Chaos Trials.

Phase 1 Arena Masters Overview

Phase 1 starts when you arrive at Verdant Arena. Here, you will face Chaos Kitty. Chaos Kitty is accompanied by weaker creatures under their command: Logging Beaver and Dr. Teddy. Before the encounter begins, look for suitable blueprints like the Soaker Outsider to help in battle.

During the fight, focus your attacks on Chaos Kitty to finish quickly. Once the fight ends, you’ll receive your early Symbiosis experience and access to other higher-level arenas in the game.

How to Raise Your Symbiosis Level

To progress in the Palworld x Once Human event, you must raise your Symbiosis Level. Reaching Level 4 Symbiosis is essential, as it unlocks tools required to challenge tougher Arena Masters. Both of these items are critical when facing challenging bosses alike.

The materials required to craft these items can generally be found in high-level areas such as the Agate Tundra. Some materials can also be acquired near the Green Field Teleport Tower.

Polar Jelly: Deals massive frost AoE damage.
Rainman: Calls forth a constant downpour at specific locations.

This combination offers a highly balanced team setup designed to inflict both AoE and single-target damage, making it perfect for clearing early and mid-level Arena Bosses.

Phase 1 Arena Masters and Strategies

Chaosaurous Rex

The best tactic to handle the Chaosaurous Rex is to position yourself at a higher vantage point. Look for rocky structures in the arena and climb them to avoid attacks.
Chaos Snowsprite (Agate Tundra Arena)

Recommended Level: 45

The Chaos Snowsprite uses powerful frost-based AoE attacks and inflicts slowing effects on your team. Maintain distance and spread out your team members to minimize damage.

Use nearby obstacles as cover when the Chaos Snowsprite prepares for its slam attack. Instead of rushing in, wait for your opportunity to strike after dodging its attacks.
Mr. Wish (Final Arena Master)

Upon reaching Symbiosis Level 1750, you will unlock the last Arena Master of Phase 1, Mr. Wish.

This fight may seem intimidating, but it primarily tests your endurance. Avoid getting hit, as Mr. Wish can down you in just a few hits.

Defeating him unlocks the Chaos Trial, the final phase of this event.

What Are Chaos Trials in Once Human?

Once you have defeated Mr. Wish in the arena battle, you unlock the Chaos Trials. These trials are significantly more difficult than regular arena fights. However, you can apply similar strategies used against regular Arena Masters to the chaos variants.

In Chaos Trials, you will face level 60 enemies while your level is capped at 50, creating a challenging combat environment. Winning these trials is the only way to earn Chaos Coins, the true prize of this event.

You will receive 60 Chaos Coins from each Chaos Trial, and you need a total of 300 Chaos Coins to purchase the Chaos Mutagen. This mutagen is the only method to create and obtain the Chaosaurus Rex using the fusion system.

Additional Tips

Always aim to reach an elevated spot in the arena to minimize incoming AoE damage.
The Phase 1 Arena event serves as preparation for the Chaos Trials, so use this time to optimize your strategies and team setup.
