Exactly one week before the release of Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated 12th studio album, *The Life of a Showgirl*, cupcake company Baked by Melissa is kicking off the countdown with a special new baked goods release inspired by the pop star.
The Showgirl Cupcakes 12-pack features teal and orange icing, a nod to the album artwork. The packaging includes several Easter eggs designed specifically for Swifties, such as 13 stars, a lock, a disco ball, and an engagement ring—alluding to Swift’s iconic diamond rock.
This limited-edition pack officially goes on sale on the Baked by Melissa website starting September 26, while supplies last. The cupcakes come in two flavors:
– **Teal Vanilla:** Vanilla cake with teal icing and white chocolate gold sugar crystal brittle topping
– **Orange Vanilla:** Orange vanilla cake with orange vanilla icing and white chocolate gold sugar crystal brittle topping
The 12-pack is available for $19, while a bundle of two packs is priced at $38.
Taylor Swift’s *The Life of a Showgirl* will be released on October 3. She revealed the album cover art and a tracklist featuring Sabrina Carpenter on the title song in August. Swift unveiled these details on her social media channels and during an appearance on the *New Heights Show* podcast, co-hosted by her Super Bowl champion beau, Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason.
Ahead of the album’s release, Swift has also announced dozens of variant editions, each with different album cover images and vinyl color schemes. These variants will be shipped out on October 3. Additionally, a special-edition Target-exclusive variant, announced last week, will be available to shop online and in select Target stores starting at midnight.
