**”Honestly really fun”: Indian-origin man kills sex offender in California**

A 29-year-old man from Fremont, California, has been arrested for allegedly killing a 71-year-old man identified as a sex offender. The suspect, Varun Suresh, is accused of fatally stabbing David Brimmer outside his home.
### Tracking the Victim via Megan’s Law Website
According to court documents, Suresh used California’s Megan’s Law website to identify Brimmer as a registered sex offender. He tracked down Brimmer’s home and reportedly admitted that he had wanted to kill a sex offender for years because, in his words, “they hurt children” and “deserve to die.”
### Premeditated Crime
Suresh did not know Brimmer personally before the incident. However, evidence shows he took screenshots of multiple profiles on the Megan’s Law website, capturing names, addresses, physical descriptions, photographs, and conviction records approximately 45 minutes before the stabbing.
Court documents reveal that Suresh planned the attack meticulously. He intended to pose as a certified public accountant (CPA) seeking new clients and equipped himself with a bag, notebook, and coffee to appear legitimate before approaching Brimmer.
### Confession and Attitude
Upon his arrest, Suresh allegedly confessed that he “wasn’t planning on getting away with it” and wanted to be arrested for the crime. He expressed no remorse, stating that he “didn’t feel sad at all.” Authorities reported that during questioning, Suresh laughed and described the murder as “honestly really fun.”
Suresh has been charged with murder in connection to Brimmer’s stabbing. A court date for his trial has yet to be scheduled.
### Previous Legal Issues
This is not Suresh’s first encounter with the law. He was previously arrested in 2021 for making a false bomb threat and other charges. Following his recent arrest, Suresh told authorities he believed the CEO of Hyatt Hotels was a pedophile and that he had been “hunting” the CEO for some time.
