This 1969 Jeep CJ-5 is said to have been owned by the State of California and utilized to pull passenger tram cars for the State Fair until it was acquired by the seller in 1992. It was then placed in long-term storage before undergoing a mechanical and cosmetic refurbishment that was completed in 2025. Work included overhauling the 225ci Dauntless V6, repainting the body in white, and retrimming the seats in black and burgundy vinyl. The truck rides on 15″ steel wheels and is further equipped with a three-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, drum brakes, a fold-down windshield, a pintle hitch, and a heater. This CJ-5 shows 18k miles and is now offered at no reserve with a California title in the seller’s name.
