The film has seen multiple delays over the years in its shoot, but now Ranbir Kapoor has decided to take things seriously. Reliable sources have confirmed that Ranbir Kapoor has advised SLB and his team to finish Love And War by March 2026. “He wants to ensure that there’s atleast 4 months gap between Love And War and Ramayana. Since the date of Ramayana can’t move, RK has requested Sanjay Leela Bhansali to bring Love And War on the big screen, latest by June 2026,” a trade source told Bollywood Hungama. The trade source further informed us that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is very keen to release Love And War in the month of August on Independence Day. “But RK feels that there’s too little of a gap between Love and War and Ramayana. He is firm on his stance of releasing Love and War in June. Ranbir’s producer, Namit Malhotra too, is putting the pressure to ensure that SLB releases Love and War in June, as he doesn’t want the aftermath of Love And War to impact Ramayana in any way, given that the latter is a much bigger film.”SLB is expected to take a call on the release date soon, and make an official announcement. Karan Johar’s birthday gift for Kartik Aaryan, turns Naagzilla into a franchise: “Kartik will be the only constant in the series”
Kartik Aaryan’s career is moving in unexpected and very exciting ways. And the best is yet to come. He now plays an ichhaadhaari naag-a snake that can assume any form, including human in Naagzilla: Naag Lok Ka Pehla Kaand. These days Kartik, who turns 35 on November 22, spends a lot of time watching Reena Roy in Rajkumar Kohli’s Nagin where she played an ichhaadhari nagin, the female counterpart of what Kartik plays. A meeting with the veteran actress Reena Roy is also being planned. Karan Johar, the master planner that he is, intends to extend Kartik Aaryan’s Naagzilla avatar into a full-fledged franchise.“As soon as the first Naagzilla film is launched, the pre-production for the next film in the series will start. Kartik will be the only constant in the series. The rest of the cast and crew will change in every instalment,” a source close to the development informed. Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan have signed a multi-film deal. On 25 December, 2025, Karan-Kartik’s romcom Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri will release, followed by Naagzilla on August 14, 2026. EXCLUSIVE: CBFC changes Rose-mary Marlow to Rose-mary Carlow in Mastiii 4; asks for THIS modification in the Aftab Shivdasani-old man sex joke
The sex comedy Mastiii 4 hit cinemas today and has already grabbed eyeballs thanks to its popular franchise and naughty trailer. Even before its release, there was apprehension that the Central Board of Film Certification would insist on multiple cuts. Bollywood Hungama had exclusively revealed two days ago that the board had asked for six dialogues to be altered. We can now share the detailed breakdown of some of these changes. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “One of the lines from the trailer that drew both laughs and criticism was the exchange between Aftab Shivdasani and an elderly patient. The old man tells Aftab, ‘Mujhe jawan ladki ke saath sex karna hai’. When a worried Aftab warns, ‘Lekin aisa karne se maut ho jaayegi’, the patient quips, ‘Marti hai toh mar jaaye saali’. In the theatrical version, this entire bit has been toned down. In the film, the patient now says, ‘Mujhe jawan ladki ke saath masti karni hai’. Aftab still cautions, ‘Lekin aisa karne se maut ho jaayegi’, to which the patient replies, ‘Main marne ke liye tayyar hoon’.”The source continued, “That is not all. The three women with whom the trio have an affair in Grand Masti (2013) are named Rose, Mary and Marlow. Read together, their names form a cheeky double meaning in Hindi. In Mastiii 4, a glamorous character is introduced as Rose-mary Marlow. Her name has now been changed to Rose-mary Carlow. It is surprising that the censors had no issue with the gag in the second film, released 12 years ago, but have objected to it this time.”Directed by Milap Zaveri, Mastiii 4 stars Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani, who have always featured in the previous parts of the franchise as well Masti (2004), Grand Masti and Great Grand Masti (2016). SHOWDOWN at the box office! Deewaniyat team locks horns with Thamma over screen sharing; demands fair showcasing from multiplexes
The buzz around Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa’s Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat is building, thanks to the sensational soundtrack, and an impactful trailer for the mass audiences. After Saiyaara and Sanam Teri Kasam, this is expected to be another film catering to the youth and lovers of intense love stories. The film is clashing with Dinesh Vijan’s Thamma on the Diwali weekend, and the fight is getting intense. Reliable trade sources have confirmed that team Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat has demanded equal showcasing to Thamma in national multiplex chains. “Deewaniyat team is confident that the hype for their film is on par with Thama despite a limited budget. They have requested the multiplex chains to be fair with the showcasing, rather than going for lopsided showcasing,” the source told Bollywood Hungama. The source told us further, “PVRInox is the distributor of Thamma, and one of the top management employees of PVRInox is now a part of Team Thama, heading distribution. Deewaniyat team has asked all the national chains to go by the demand among the audience, rather than the foul play of leveraging equations for better showcasing.”The advances for both films are opening on 17th October, and there is immense pressure on national chains to give preference to Thamma. “Dinesh Vijan and the senior former PVRInox executive have demanded 75 percent shows, leaving only 25 percent for Deewaniyat. It’s going to be a battle, and there is a high chance for bookings to start late due to the fight between the two parties.”The Diwali weekend could be a battle royale between team Thamma and Deewaniyat.
