The Bold and the Beautiful Thursday, December 18 Recap: Thomas Ends Deke’s Forrester Career

**The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) Recap – Thursday, December 18**

On Thursday’s episode of *The Bold and the Beautiful*, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) effectively ended Deke Sharpe’s (Harrison Cone) career at Forrester Creations, while Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) celebrated Katie Spencer’s (Heather Tom) big decision.

At Forrester Creations, Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) surprised Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) by revealing that his cousin was back. Shortly after, Thomas strutted through the door. Steffy enjoyed a happy reunion with Thomas, who announced that he was ready to work on Hope Logan Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) fashion line once again. There was no need for “green” Deke, since Thomas and Zende could handle the project on their own.

Meanwhile, Deke was growing worried about his future at Forrester, as none of his designs had actually been used yet. Hope reassured her brother that although Zende was more experienced and carried the Forrester name, she would look out for him.

Over at the Forrester estate, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) spoke with Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly) about her remarriage to Bill Spencer and expressed his assumption that Bill would disappoint her once again. Ridge also mentioned that it might be good for Katie to have some stability at Forrester Creations when that happens. Brooke, however, wanted to smooth things over with Katie and ensure she felt appreciated.

Later, Ridge found out about Thomas’ return and his eagerness to work on Hope’s line, *Hope for the Future*. In the showroom, Thomas gestured toward the runway and the iconic Forrester logo, insisting that this was where he belonged. He also took a jab at Deke, the “pizzamaker’s son,” and emphasized that his comeback would be beneficial for the company.

Steffy felt confident that she could convince Hope to get on board since their relationship was in a better place these days. However, even if Steffy couldn’t, she pointed out that it was ultimately Hope’s decision to make — alongside Ridge.

Ridge had a private conversation with Thomas, voicing concerns about Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri), who loved his life in Paris. Thomas insisted that he wouldn’t have to drag Douglas away from his beloved home and could simply pop into Los Angeles when necessary for the fashion line.

Steffy later met with Hope to break the news about Thomas’s return. After revealing Thomas’s desire to make a comeback with *Hope for the Future*, Hope questioned what this meant for Deke. Steffy acknowledged that while Deke had a bright future, it might not be at Forrester Creations.

Meanwhile, at Spencer Publications, Katie gave Will updates on Bill’s wedding present — a fashion house opportunity. Will was thrilled for Katie and supported Bill’s efforts to convince her to accept the offer. Katie worried that this could negatively impact Will’s career at Forrester Creations, but Will assured her that he could always come work at Spencer Publications if needed.

Despite Katie’s concerns, both Will and Bill felt she should seize the opportunity. Eventually, Katie decided to move forward with the fashion house, leading to a sweet embrace among the three of them.

**The Bold and the Beautiful** spoilers hint that Katie’s decision will soon send shockwaves at Forrester Creations! Stay tuned.
