Named Vi-O-La, Samus’ motorcycle was spotlighted in the new overview trailer for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. The vehicle was left behind by an alien civilization on Viewros, the planet serving as the game’s primary setting.
Players can use Vi-O-La to cover great distances between zones efficiently, all while collecting crystals and engaging enemies along the way. One of the standout features is the ability for Samus to instantly summon Vi-O-La to her location in areas where its use is permitted.
The motorcycle is ridden in third-person view, providing a fresh gameplay perspective. When Samus dismounts, the game will automatically switch back to the classic first-person point of view, ensuring seamless transitions between exploration and combat.
