MANILA, Philippines – In a bizarre conclusion to a competitive world title fight, Filipino challenger Jayson Vayson suffered a seventh-round loss to Puerto Rico’s Oscar Collazo on Sunday (Manila time) at Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California.
Vayson was still very much in the thick of things when his corner inexplicably stopped the fight with one minute and 41 seconds left in the round.
