**Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Light to Moderate Showers Expected to Continue**
Light to moderate showers are expected to persist across Madhya Pradesh, with no heavy rain alerts issued for Saturday. Currently, a cyclonic circulation and a north-south trough are active over the state, but their impact remains limited.
According to the Meteorological Department, no significant rainfall is expected over the next four days across Madhya Pradesh. However, activation of local weather systems may trigger light showers in some districts.
On Friday, over 10 districts experienced heavy rainfall, including Khajuraho (Chhatarpur) and Sendhwa (Barwani). As a precaution, three gates of Khajuraho’s Ranguwa Dam and one gate of Bhopal’s Bhadbhada Dam were opened.
Betul recorded 1.25 inches of rain, while Ratlam and Chhindwara each received 1 inch. Light showers were also reported in Pachmarhi, Shivpuri, Jabalpur, Naugaon, and Sidhi.
### MP Records Above-Normal Rainfall This Monsoon

### Outlook for the Coming Weeks
Another spell of heavy rain is predicted across the state during the last week of the month. The Meteorological Department also reported that the monsoon has retreated from several districts in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana, and is currently extending towards Madhya Pradesh.
