Field Depots are valuable locations in ARC Raiders for several reasons. Not only do you need to know where to find them for some early quests, but they also serve as fantastic, relatively quick sources of loot and in-raid supplies. Here’s how to find them and make the most of these strategic points.

### What Are Field Depots?
Field Depots are distinctive structures scattered across the maps in ARC Raiders. They offer more than just loot—by depositing Field Crates found nearby into the Depot’s device, you can unlock various goodies such as ammo, meds, grenades, and crafting materials. This makes them a high-priority target during raids.

### How to Find Field Depots on Dam Battlegrounds
The introductory Dam Battlegrounds map features quite a few Field Depots. When searching for them, look for round, long, and ramshackle buildings draped with a blue tarp. A key identifying feature is an antenna tower extending from their roof.
Keep in mind that Field Depots are usually not inside major points of interest, though they can be found near them.

### Notable Field Depot Locations on Dam Battlegrounds
– **Southwestern Swamp:**
One of the easiest Field Depots to locate is in the southwestern swamp region. It lies about 150 meters northeast of the South Swamp Outpost. It stands out by being larger than neighboring buildings and having the signature radar tower.
– **Near Power Generation Complex:**
If you spawn around the northern area near the Power Generation Complex, head towards the easternmost edge of the yellow border. There’s a Field Depot approximately 200 meters northwest of the Pump House Hatch extraction point.

### Tips for Using Field Depots
When you find a Field Depot, you’ll generally discover some loot inside. However, the real value comes from collecting Field Crates located in nearby buildings and depositing them into the device at the center of the Depot.
This action opens up access to powerful resources, including ammunition, medical supplies, grenades, and materials — all vital for surviving and progressing in the raid.

### Additional Info
– Once you get within about 75 meters of a Field Depot, its icon will automatically appear on your map, even if you can’t see the Depot directly.
– You can then set a waypoint to navigate towards it easily.
– The icon disappears if you move too far away from the Depot.

### Be Cautious
Using a Field Depot to open Field Crates can be noisy, briefly alerting enemies to your position. Additionally, these buildings tend to be killboxes, often with just one exit. Enemies waiting at that exit can make escape difficult.
As with everything in ARC Raiders, taking on a Field Depot requires strategy and caution — but the rewards are well worth the risk.
