Google (GOOGL) parent company Alphabet has released its Q3 2025 quarterly earnings report, showcasing growth across multiple sectors—including a strong performance from YouTube.
YouTube has once again surpassed $10 billion in ad revenue, generating $10.261 billion in the most recent quarter. This marks a significant increase from $9.8 billion in the previous quarter and $8.9 billion at the same time last year. Notably, this is the second time in 2025 that YouTube has topped the $10 billion mark, having recorded $10.473 billion in ad revenue in Q4 2024.
“Alphabet had a terrific quarter, with double-digit growth across every major part of our business,” said Alphabet/Google CEO Sundar Pichai in the Q3 2025 earnings report.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, YouTube’s increasing ad revenue can largely be attributed to its dominant position in U.S. TV ad revenue sharing, outpacing other streaming services. YouTube has consistently led this category for several months, extending its lead over competitors like Disney and Netflix.
