**Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan (SNSPA) Inaugurated at South Eastern Railway**
The “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan (SNSPA)” was inaugurated on 17th September 2025 by the General Manager of South Eastern Railway at the Central Hospital Auditorium, Garden Reach. The event was graced by the presence of the Additional General Manager, Principal Chief Medical Director, and all Principal Heads of Departments.
### About the Campaign
The SNSPA campaign is dedicated to improving women’s health through a comprehensive approach that includes preventive, promotive, and curative health services at the community level. Its core focus areas are:
– Providing women-centric health services aimed at prevention and treatment.
– Strengthening screening, early detection, and treatment linkage for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), Anaemia, Tuberculosis (TB), and Sickle Cell Disease.
– Promoting maternal, child, and adolescent health through antenatal care (ANC), immunization, nutrition, menstrual hygiene, and lifestyle awareness activities.
– Mobilizing communities to adopt healthy lifestyle practices, with special attention to obesity, nutrition, and voluntary blood donation.
### Planned Activities (17th September 2025 – 2nd October 2025)
During the campaign period, South Eastern Railway has planned a series of activities to support the health of women and communities:
– Voluntary Blood Donation Camp.
– Health check-up camp specifically for Lady Swachhata Workers.
– Health check-ups for working women, including screenings for cancers, TB, and provision of nutritional advice.
– Awareness programmes focusing on adolescent healthcare.
– Sessions on menstrual hygiene and ANC check-ups.
– Awareness programmes on breast and cervical cancer.
– Multispecialty health check-up camps for women and children.
– Sickle Cell Disease screening camps in tribal areas.
