**Actress from 9-1-1 Nashville Passes Away at 23 After Battling Charcot Marie Tooth Disease**
Isabelle Tate, an actress who appeared in the pilot episode of the ABC TV show *9-1-1 Nashville*, tragically passed away last weekend at the young age of 23. Tate portrayed a character named Julie in the series’ debut, which aired on October 9. She had recently returned to acting after a period away from the industry.
LeAnn Rimes, Chris O’Donnell, and Jessica Capshaw are among the stars of *9-1-1 Nashville*, which airs Thursday nights at 9 PM ET. It remains unclear if Tate was slated to appear in any upcoming episodes.
TMZ spoke with Tate’s agent, who revealed that she suffered from Charcot Marie Tooth disease (CMT), the same neuromuscular condition that country music star Alan Jackson was diagnosed with in late 2021. Isabelle died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, October 19.

### What Is Charcot Marie Tooth Disease (CMT)?
Country fans became more familiar with CMT after Alan Jackson announced his diagnosis. Jackson candidly shared that the disease would limit his mobility and eventually force him to stop touring—a reality that has unfolded as tickets for his final show ever recently went on sale.
According to the Charcot Marie Tooth Association, CMT is a rare, multi-system, and multi-organ disease that causes lifelong and progressive symptoms. These include muscle weakness and atrophy in the arms and legs, sensory loss, and other complications. Such symptoms often result in difficulty with balance, walking, hand function, and other daily activities. Additionally, various organs can be affected.

Nearly three years before her passing, Isabelle Tate disclosed her diagnosis on Instagram, openly admitting that the physical decline caused by CMT had a significant impact on her mental health. She had stepped away from acting for some time before auditioning for *9-1-1 Nashville*.
Her obituary remembers her as a woman full of fire, who “never once made excuses for the fact that she might have a disability relative to others.”
Services for the Middle Tennessee State University graduate are scheduled for Friday, October 24.
