**Where to Find Shiny Mareep in Pokémon Legends: Arceus**
To encounter this Shiny Mareep, which appears in Wild Zone 1, you first need to progress to Mission 8 in the main campaign. After completing that mission and reaching Rank V, head over to Lida. Chat with her and then defeat her in a battle. Doing this will unlock additional side missions.
At the northeast entrance to Wild Zone 1, you’ll find an NPC standing with two Mareeps. She mentions having heard a rumor about a Shiny Mareep in Wild Zone 1 and asks for your help to find it.
**How to Catch the Shiny Mareep**
Enter Wild Zone 1 and make your way to the section of fence blocked by two rocks, with a small pool of water visible on the other side. You’ll need to break the rocks to proceed. Once through, climb the ladder leading up to the roof.
From there, turn right and climb to the next roof. This is where the Shiny Mareep awaits.
A cutscene will trigger, and the NPC will appear, happy to have seen the Shiny Mareep. You are free to catch it at this point. To capture it, try using a Great Ball and wait until the Mareep is looking away before throwing the ball. This strategy worked well for a successful catch.
