**iPhone 17 Launch in India Sparks Frenzy, Long Queues Form at Apple Stores**
**NEW DELHI:** Apple’s iPhone 17 series went on sale in India today, drawing massive crowds and chaotic scenes at Apple stores in Delhi and Mumbai.
At Saket Mall in southeast Delhi, long queues of enthusiastic fans formed from the early hours, with many waiting since dawn to be among the first buyers of the much-anticipated device.
Similar excitement gripped Mumbai, where Apple’s flagship BKC store saw heavy footfall. However, the rush turned unruly when a scuffle broke out among a few people outside the BKC Jio Centre store. Security personnel had to intervene as fistfights briefly disrupted the queue, restoring order.
Among the eager buyers was Manoj, who traveled all the way from Ahmedabad. “I come from Ahmedabad every time. I have been waiting since 5 am,” he said, clutching his new iPhone.
The launch highlights Apple’s growing footprint in India, with its stores becoming hubs of frenzy and fanfare as the iPhone 17 officially hit the shelves.
The iPhone 17 series is powered by Apple’s latest silicon chip and runs on iOS 26, designed to seamlessly support the company’s new suite of AI features branded as Apple Intelligence.
The devices will be available across Apple’s official stores in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Pune, as well as on the company’s official website. Customers can also purchase them from e-commerce platforms, quick commerce apps, and authorized Apple retailers.
