Bengals activate G Lucas Patrick, elevate DE Isaiah Foskey

The Cincinnati Bengals have made two roster moves ahead of their Thursday night game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The team has activated guard Lucas Patrick off injured reserve. Patrick has been sidelined since suffering a calf injury during the Week 1 victory over the Cleveland Browns. The veteran offensive lineman originally signed with the Bengals in March, and his return is a boost to the offensive line.

Additionally, the Bengals have elevated defensive end Isaiah Foskey for the upcoming contest. Foskey provides an extra edge-rushing option, especially with Trey Hendrickson expected to miss the game due to a hip injury.

A second-round pick by the New Orleans Saints in 2023, Foskey has appeared in 27 career games but has yet to start. He recorded 16 total tackles last season with New Orleans and contributed on special teams, playing 78 percent of the snaps in 17 games.

These moves underline the Bengals’ efforts to bolster their lineup as they prepare to face the Steelers on Thursday night.
