**Mumbai Metro 3 Final Stretch to be Inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi on October 8**
Mumbai Metro 3 is set for a grand inauguration on October 8, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to officially open the final stretch of the line. Ahead of the much-anticipated event, Mumbai Metro 3 took to X to share images of the Jagannath Shankar Seth Metro Station, located within the Mumbai Central railway complex.
The Jagannath Shankar Seth Metro Station is strategically positioned close to the Mumbai Central railway station, enhancing north-south connectivity across the city. The station offers multiple entry and exit points and easy access, allowing commuters to transfer seamlessly between Metro Line 3 and the Mumbai Central Suburban Railway Station. According to the Mumbai Metro 3’s social media post, “Multiple entry-exits + easy access = reduced travel time & hassle-free commutes across Mumbai.”
With the inauguration of the final segment spanning from Worli to Cuffe Parade, Mumbai’s entire 33.5-kilometer Colaba–Bandra–SEEPZ Aqua Line will become operational. Marking the city’s first fully underground metro corridor, this line promises faster and greener travel options, significantly reducing road congestion and overall travel time for commuters.
