Maynard Ngu Resigns from Altus Property Ventures Amid Flood Control Scandal

MANILA, Philippines – Maynard Ngu, the tech billionaire behind Cherry Mobile who has recently been linked to the billion-peso flood control scandal, has resigned from his position as independent director of Altus Property Ventures Inc.

In a regulatory filing on Tuesday, Altus— a wholly owned subsidiary of the Gokongwei-led Robinsons Land Corp.— announced that its board of directors had accepted Ngu’s resignation.
