Michael Jackson, Diana Ross and Mick Jagger featured in Epstein photo dump

“King of Pop” Michael Jackson was among the high-profile figures whose ties to Jeffrey Epstein came to light on Friday, as the Justice Department began releasing documents related to its investigation of the late sex offender.

One photo made public shows Jackson standing alongside Epstein in front of a painting of a woman lying topless on a beach. Another image features Jackson with singer Diana Ross and former President Bill Clinton, apparently aboard a private plane.

Epstein, 66, died by suicide at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal charges of sex trafficking minors. Jackson died in 2009 from cardiac arrest due to a drug overdose at the age of 50.

The pop superstar had previously been investigated by the FBI for possible child molestation between 1993–1994 and again from 2004–2005. He was never charged with any crimes.

Little has been reported over the years regarding Epstein’s relationship with Jackson. However, Epstein was known to associate with many powerful and famous individuals—among them, President Donald Trump, filmmaker Woody Allen, and billionaire businessman Leon Black. None of these individuals have been accused of participating in Epstein’s criminal activities.

The Justice Department’s document release also included a photo of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, 82, dining with Clinton, Epstein, and Ghislaine Maxwell. Jagger’s name, already public from a previously released contact book, has not been linked to any wrongdoing involving Epstein.

President Trump stated before taking office that he would order the prompt release of federal files pertaining to the Epstein investigation. Nevertheless, the disclosure process has encountered repeated delays. In November, Congress compelled the DOJ to begin making the cache of documents available by Friday.

While officials have promised ongoing releases, they cautioned that making the entire collection public would take several more weeks. Democrats, frustrated by the delays, have threatened legal action and called the slow pace a “violation of federal law.”
