Pawar directed officials from the Medical Education Department to coordinate closely with the central government for the establishment of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Pune. He highlighted the strategic importance of enhancing healthcare infrastructure in the state through this initiative.
### Focus on Pune Metro Line-3 Completion
The Deputy Chief Minister also stressed the importance of completing the Pune Metro Line-3 project, which connects Shivajinagar to Hinjewadi. He called for high-quality construction standards to ensure the project’s success. Considering the ongoing festive season, Pawar instructed that metro construction under bridges should be carefully managed to avoid traffic congestion and inconvenience to the public.
### Guidelines for Karjat-Bhimashankar-Khed-Shirur Highway Project
Ajit Pawar reviewed the proposed Karjat-Bhimashankar-Khed-Shirur highway project during the meeting. He provided necessary guidelines to officials of the Public Works Department (PWD) to ensure the timely and efficient implementation of the project.
