Lloyd might be among music’s best live performers, but even he isn’t immune from the occasional on-stage mishap which is what happened to him this week. On Friday (November 21), the R&B singer-songwriter took to the stage at BJCC Concert Hall as part of the Cuffing Season Tour with Jagged Edge and Eric Bellinger. However, during a performance of his Lil Wayne-featured “Girls Around the World,” he fell to the floor and had to be helped up by a couple of members of his team. In video captured from the incident, Lloyd, donning a yellow suit, can be seen laughing off the fall and hopping right back on the mic like the consummate professional that he is. It’s unclear what caused the fall, but the “Get It Shawty” singer shared a video of the incident (captured by Birmingham Music Plug) and hopped in the comments section to poke fun at himself. “Saw my life flash before my eyes tonight lol,” he joked. On Wednesday(November 19), Miss Jamaica, Dr. Gabrielle Henry, took a bad fall during the Miss Universe preliminary evening gown round in Bangkok, Thailand. Besides the fall video, another clip, which circulated on X, showed people rushing to assist and then removing Miss Jamaica by stretcher, to applause from people in the audience. “The Miss Universe Jamaica Organization wishes to advise the public that Dr. Gabrielle Henry, Miss Universe Jamaica 2025, experienced a fall from the main stage during the evening gown round of the preliminary competition ahead of this weekend’s Miss Universe Finals in Thailand,” the official Miss Jamaica Instagram page confirmed. “She was rushed to the Paolo Rangsit Hospital, where medical professionals are attending to her care and have advised that she is not suffering from any life-threatening injuries; however, they continue to conduct tests to ensure her full recovery.”.
