“No place like Nebraska Volleyball”- Virginia Adriano makes feelings known on 350th consecutive sellout amid Big Ten win

It’s a hat-trick for the Nebraska Volleyball team, better known as the Nebraska Cornhuskers. With their recent victory against the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Huskers have not only extended their invincible streak to 27-0 this season, but have also virtually secured the Big Ten Conference title for the third time in a row since 2023. Ad Andi Jackson, the co-skipper of the Nebraska Volleyball team, attended the post-match press conference alongside Italian volleyball player Virginia Adriano, who has made her debut for the Huskers this season. The opposite player opened up about the 350th sellout and the Big Ten victory in the conference. When asked about the impact of Nebraska Volleyball’s recent victory, Virginia Adriano nonchalantly remarked, “Yeah, um it’s it’s insane. Uh it’s, it’s something that I’ve never seen before. Uh and I know like maybe you can think internationally it’s like way bigger and it’s really not. College volleyball that is like insane and I know there is no place like Nebraska. Everybody keeps saying that and it’s very true.” [4: 25 onwards] Ad Trending Ad The Nebraska Volleyball team is now aiming to end its eight-year title drought at the NCAA Championships. The Nebraska Cornhuskers last won an NCAA title in 2017. When Dani Busboom Kelly made feelings known on Nebraska Volleyball’s record sellout Dani Busboom Kelly also shared her feelings about the 350th consecutive sellout of a Nebraska Volleyball game. The head coach remarked in a post-match press conference, Ad “Just amazing that this tradition started so long ago, and 350 is an amazing milestone, and pretty awesome that I’m able to be here for it, to be a part of it, and be a part of a lot of the ones before this. Pretty incredible the support and not just people showing up to watch the games but their investment in our players, the program, the coaches, and you know, it’s more than just a game here, and we’re just so thankful that we have the support, and hopefully this isn’t the last milestone that we celebrate,” she said (2: 40 onwards) Ad Dani Busboom Kelly had delivered the NCAA title to the Nebraska Volleyball team as a player in the 2006 season. The head coach now aims to diversify her legacy by delivering another NCAA title as the team’s head coach.
