By all accounts, the relationship between Marvel Games and Insomniac Games has been going swimmingly. They have successfully released three Spider-Man games together, and now the highly anticipated Wolverine game is just around the corner. With such a strong partnership, there’s little reason to believe their collaborations will stop after Wolverine.
Marvel Games general manager Haluk Mentes recently spoke to Game Informer about the ongoing relationship between Marvel and Insomniac, and his comments were glowing, to say the least. Despite still working on Wolverine, which is slated for a fall 2026 release, Mentes gushed over the strong bond Marvel and Insomniac have built together.
However, it’s not just about Insomniac. Marvel Games has been branching out in various directions, expanding its reach across multiple gaming genres. This includes the NetEase hero shooter *Marvel Rivals*, the digital card game *Marvel Snap* by Second Dinner, and even indie titles like Dotemu and Tribute Games’ *Marvel Cosmic Invasion*, to name a few.
Mentes expressed pride in the success Marvel Games has had in spreading its brand and welcomed even further diversity from the developers they collaborate with. This approach highlights Marvel’s commitment to offering a wide range of experiences for fans, through partnerships with both major studios and indie developers alike.
