Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has issued a friendly challenge to U.S. President Donald Trump, proposing a wager on the outcome of the World Series between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Carney revealed that he has yet to receive a response from Trump regarding the potential bet. “He doesn’t like to lose. He hasn’t called. He hasn’t returned my call yet on the bet, so I’m ready. We’re ready to make a bet with the U.S.,” Carney stated.
Predicting the outcome of the series, Carney confidently believes the Blue Jays will clinch the best-of-seven series in six games.
