India has been recommended as the host country for the 2030 Commonwealth Games, with Ahmedabad proposed as the venue city. This decision was taken by the executive board of Commonwealth Sport during a meeting held on Wednesday.
The formal approval of Ahmedabad’s candidacy is expected at the full membership meeting of Commonwealth Sport during its General Assembly in Glasgow, Scotland, scheduled for November 26.
