**Weather Update: Cloudy Skies and Humid Air Continue in Madhya Pradesh**
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh woke up to cloudy skies and humid air on Thursday. In many cities, including Bhopal and Indore, light fog was observed in the early morning hours, reducing visibility on the roads and causing slower travel for early commuters.
Daytime temperatures across most parts of the state hovered around 30–32°C, while nighttime temperatures remained warm at approximately 22–23°C. The air felt sticky due to the high humidity levels. Skies stayed mostly cloudy throughout the day, with occasional breaks allowing limited sunshine.
In Indore, the maximum temperature was recorded at about 31°C, with a minimum near 22°C. Bhopal experienced similar conditions, featuring warm weather during the day and cloudy skies in the evening. Meanwhile, the Gwalior and Rewa divisions reported higher temperatures, reaching 33–34°C.
There is a slight chance of light showers in parts of western and southern Madhya Pradesh during the evening hours. However, no widespread heavy rainfall has been reported so far. Farmers in rural areas are still awaiting consistent rains to support their crops.
The weather department has forecasted that humid and cloudy conditions will persist over the next few days, with light rains possible in scattered parts of the state. Nights are expected to remain warm and somewhat uncomfortable due to the sticky air.
