NASA silent as Juno mission around Jupiter may have ended

NASA’s spinning spacecraft, which has been studying the satellites of the solar system’s largest celestial body (aside from the Sun), may already have been switched off. However, the space agency has not confirmed this.

The Juno probe was launched in 2011 and entered orbit around Jupiter in 2016. NASA has extended Juno’s mission multiple times, but its operational timeframe has now passed.
