PHILADELPHIA — Teoscar Hernandez delivered a clutch three-run home run in the seventh inning, sparking the Los Angeles Dodgers to a crucial victory over the Philadelphia Phillies.
Hernandez’s timely homer provided a much-needed boost for the Dodgers, helping to bail out Shohei Ohtani, who contributed both on the mound and at the plate.
Ohtani was impressive throughout the game, striking out four batters as he helped lead Los Angeles to a 5-3 win in Game 1 of their National League Division Series on Saturday night.
