Madhya Pradesh’s 25 IAS Officials To Serve As Poll Observer In Bihar

**Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh):** Twenty-five IAS officers of the Madhya Pradesh cadre will be deputed as observers for the Bihar Assembly elections and subsequent by-elections. These officials have been instructed to attend the Election Commission’s briefing in Delhi on October 3.

The list of officers includes prominent names such as Member Secretary of the MP Food Commission, Shobit Jain; PS (Social Justice), Sonali Ponkshe Vayankar; PS (Revenue), Vivek Kumar Porwal; PS (Public Health Engineering), P Narahari; and Secretary of School Education, Dr. Sanjay Goyal.

Other key officials are Secretary of the Labour Department, Raghuraj MR; Secretary of Women and Child Development Department, G V Rashmi; Commissioner of Handicraft and Handlooms, Madan Bibhishan Nagargoje; and Director of BGTR, Swatantra Kumar Singh.

Additional officers assigned include MD of the MP Road Development Corporation, Bharat Yadav; Secretary of the Home Department, Abhishek Singh; Director of Farmer Welfare, Ajay Gupta; IG Registration and Superintendent of Stamps, Amit Tomar; and MD of Power Management Company (Jabalpur), Avinash Lavania.

Further appointments feature Commissioner cum Director of Horticulture and Food Processing, Preeti Maithil; Additional Secretary of the MP Backward Classes and Minority Department, Anurag Chaudhary; Commissioner cum Director of Health Services, Tarun Rathi; Additional Secretary of the Revenue Department, Gautam Singh; and Project Director of the MP Skill Development Project, Girish Sharma.

The list is rounded out by Director of Rajya Shiksha Kendra, Harjinder Singh; Director of WALMI, Sarita Bala Om Prajapati; Additional Secretary of New and Renewable Energy, Virendra Kumar; Commissioner of the MP Housing and Infrastructure Development Board, Dr. Fating Rahul Haridas; and MD of the Agriculture Marketing Board, Kumar Purshottam.

These officers will play a key role in overseeing the election process to ensure smooth and fair conduct during the electoral exercise in Bihar.
