**Annapolis Subaru “Share the Love” Event to Benefit The Blue Ribbon Project**

Annapolis Subaru will direct this year’s Subaru of America “Share the Love” event toward a local cause that supports children in crisis. From November 20, 2025, through January 2, 2026, for every new Subaru sold or leased, Annapolis Subaru and Subaru of America will donate a combined $450 to The Blue Ribbon Project—an Annapolis-based nonprofit serving abused and neglected children.

**How the Campaign Works**

Customers who purchase or lease a new Subaru during the event automatically trigger a $450 contribution to their choice of a select national charity or the local choice—The Blue Ribbon Project. The donation is made by Annapolis Subaru together with Subaru of America and does not add to the customer’s purchase price.

Additionally, when you bring your Subaru into Annapolis Subaru during the program period for an oil change, an extra $5 will be donated to The Blue Ribbon Project.

**About The Blue Ribbon Project**

The Blue Ribbon Project provides immediate and practical support to children entering foster care and to youth preparing for independence. Key programs include:

– **Backpacks of Love:** Supplies essential items to children when they enter foster care.
– **Aging Up. Not Out:** Helps older foster youth build the skills and stability needed for independent living.

Funds from the “Share the Love” campaign will stay local, supporting services for children and teens in Anne Arundel County and the surrounding region.

**Part of Subaru’s National Initiative**

Now in its 18th year, Subaru’s “Share the Love” program combines national and local giving to raise millions for nonprofits across the United States. Subaru of America donates $250 per vehicle sold to national charity partners, while participating retailers add contributions to hometown organizations.

Since its launch, the program has raised nearly $320 million for charitable causes. Last year, Annapolis Subaru presented a $70,000 check to The Blue Ribbon Project through the campaign. Annapolis Subaru and their customers were so moved by the mission of The Blue Ribbon Project that they decided to support this worthy cause again this year!
