MSNBC’s Election Coverage To Feature Debut Of Ad Campaign To Introduce New Name MS NOW

MSNBC is set to debut a new advertising campaign during Tuesday night’s election coverage, highlighting the network’s upcoming name change to **MS Now** as it separates from its parent company, Comcast.

The rebranding will officially take place on November 15, with the new marketing campaign introducing the name and logo under the theme, “We the People.” One of the campaign’s spots features Rachel Maddow reading the preamble to the U.S. Constitution. This is interspersed with powerful imagery, including network personalities, iconic sites like Mount Rushmore and the Statue of Liberty, historic figures such as Martin Luther King Jr., as well as footage of protests and other significant moments.

Another advertisement is set to the inspiring words of Maya Angelou and showcases her 1996 United Nations reading of “The Human Family.”

The national campaign is produced by MSNBC’s creative agency, Sibling Rivalry, and will be featured across multiple platforms including online, social media, broadcast, cable, streaming, and print.

Rachel Maddow will continue to lead election coverage for the network under its new branding. As part of the spin-off, MSNBC and other Comcast cable channels will be spun off into a new company named Versant.

With NBC News no longer a sister network, **MS Now** will establish its own newsroom, including a bureau in Washington, D.C., marking a new chapter in the network’s history.
