Jason Whitlock is known for his blunt opinions, and the veteran analyst recently made his feelings known regarding Charlie Kirk’s wife, Erika Kirk, who has faced backlash on social media.
Erika Kirk lost her husband after his assassination on September 10 at an event at Utah Valley University. Over the weekend, Kyle Kulinski, host of the “Secular Talk” podcast, trolled Erika with a photoshopped post accusing her of being a “fake grieving widow grifter.”
In response, the X account “Mostly Peaceful Latinas” defended Erika, citing Congressman Thomas Massie as an example. Massie announced his remarriage just a year after the passing of his wife. The post gained traction, highlighting the public’s varied reactions to grieving processes.
Mostly Peaceful Latinas @mplpodcast305 wrote:
“You see how they hate on Erika Kirk for grieving the wrong way? Thomas Massie’s wife died last year and he already got remarried. Men don’t even wait for your body to be decomposed before they move on. There is a lesson somewhere in there.”
Jason Whitlock weighed in on the situation, offering a different perspective on Massie’s remarriage:
“There’s another way to look at it,” Whitlock wrote on X. “Men, particularly powerful men, struggle with sexual discipline. He remarried quickly so he could remain/pursue holiness. Men and women are not the same. Massie isn’t St. Paul. He knows it. Men and women should not be compared this way. Or at all.”

Following her husband’s death, Erika Kirk took over as the CEO of Turning Point USA. She is set to be presented with the inaugural Charlie Kirk Legacy Award at FOX Nation’s seventh annual Patriot Awards on Thursday.

**Jason Whitlock Slams Stephen A. Smith Over Race Card Comments on Dolphins GM Firing**
Earlier last week, Jason Whitlock launched a scathing attack at NFL analyst Stephen A. Smith for playing the race card after the Miami Dolphins fired general manager Chris Grier.
“Stephen A has reached an unprecedented level of buffoonery and illogic. DEI,” Whitlock wrote on X.
Stephen A. Smith had questioned the timing and circumstances of Grier’s firing, which ended Grier’s 10-year tenure with the franchise:
“This is BS. That’s the first fire? Really? That’s what we’re doing? It was about Tua (Tagovailoa). It was about Mike McDaniel. And the brother gets fired first?” Smith said.
He added:
“I’m not saying that he doesn’t deserve it because of the way they look. You’re at the helm, I got it. I understand it. I’m all for brothers as head coaches and GMs. We know what battles I’ve been fighting for over 30 years. I got it.”
Chris Grier was fired after the Dolphins suffered a 28-6 loss against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday. The loss marked the Dolphins’ seventh defeat of the season, leaving them on the brink of elimination from the postseason race.
